The First Step To Becoming A Home Inspector

In order to become a successful Home Inspector, the first step is to understand any state requirements.

Georgia Home Inspector Requirements

Georgia Ordinance

Georgia has passed a Trade Practice Act 1994 covering home inspections. The Act basically says you must provide a scope of work, do a visual inspection, and provide a written report. The Georgia Trade Practice Act (Chapter 3, Title 8) prohibits unethical home inspection practices and details reporting requirements.

National Institute of Home Inspection is a nationally recognized training school, that offers the home inspector certification and credentials you need to become a successful home inspector in Georgia. After completing our training, you may start inspecting right away. Many realtors, lenders, home buyers, and home owners want to make sure a home inspector has been properly trained and certified.
