Payment & Enrollment Information

Enrollment in the NIHI Home Inspector Licensing Program requires reserving a seat, as class sizes are intentionally limited to provide personalized instruction and adequate field training opportunities.

Tuition is due in full during the enrollment process. Before enrolling, each student will receive complete payment terms and enrollment documentation for review.

NIHI offers the following payment options:

  • Email Invoice (Square): A secure electronic invoice will be emailed to you and may be paid by credit or debit card through Square. A 3% merchant processing fee applies to all card payments.
  • Zelle Bank Transfer (Recommended): Send your tuition payment through Zelle to inspectorschool1@gmail.com. Zelle payments are typically received within minutes, allowing your enrollment to be processed quickly. No additional processing fees apply. Please include the student’s full name in the payment memo so your payment can be matched to your enrollment.
  • Mailed Check: Tuition may also be paid by personal or certified check. While this payment method does not include any additional fees, enrollment cannot be finalized until the check has been received and cleared, making it the slowest payment option.

Is the Home Inspector Training Cost in NJ Worth It?

This program is designed for individuals who want to approach home inspection professionally—whether as a full-time career or as a well-run secondary source of income.

Most residential inspections in New Jersey generate several hundred dollars per inspection, depending on size and services offered. Actual income depends on experience, market conditions, and business execution.

Training alone does not guarantee income — competence and consistency do.
